Cervinia lies in the Aosta Valley in the North West of Italy about 100km 100km to the north of Turin and 150 km of Milan.

It is a wll-known resort a the foot of the majestic Matterhorn  for who loves nature, mountains and  especcialy skiing.

The height of the village, 2050 m asl and the altitude of the skiresort, 2000-3500m on the side of Cervinia,  3900m on the Swiss on the swiss side allows skiing from the end of October until the beginning of May.

During summer the lifts on the glacier of Plateau Rosà are open in July and August.

Cervinia is one of the largest skiresorts in the Alps with more than 350 km pistes connected with Zermatt (Switzerland) and Valtournenche (Italy).

The highest cablecar of Europe takes you to "Klein Matterhonr" (3900m).  Have a rest and enjoy the spectacular panoramo over the Alps from the viewing platform (reachable by lift), or  visit the ice cave with its beautiful ice scuplpture and then prepare yourself to the longest descent of the Alps either to Valtournenche 1600m asl or Zermatt 1599m asl.

During summer besides the skiing on the glacier of Plateau Roà in Jyly and August, Cervinia offers a 18 holes golf coart, several tennis courts, plenty of signed paths for hikers, mountain bike itineraries, mountain clinbing, paragliding and rafting (down in the valley)
